During April 2003 a ship was sunk in Bommie Bay south of Bandar Khayran. The wreck is a de-commissioned troop carrier and tank transporter; code named Lima 1.

She is 84m long with a beam of 14.5m and approximately 22m high. The bow is facing 210°.

Bow is at 26m and stern at 30m. Deck is at 20m deep. The wreck is sitting perfectly upright in the water.
